Primer Factory

Primer Factory is a tool for searching and designing primers.
The Primer Search is based on a local NCBI Blast against your own database. You can
build your specific oligo database and blast it against your query sequence.
Consequently you find out, where your available primers will bind. Laboriously
quests or new ordering of oligos is not anymore required.In addition you can save the
blast hits as features in a genbank file format.
The primer design is based on the ePrimer3 tool from Emboss. In a batch mode you can
design primers from many sequences at once.
A quick pairwise alignment comes as an
additional tool.
 Primer Stock Search
Here you can create or load your oligo database
to blast it against your query sequence.
Those can be directly pasted into a field or loaded as a fasta file.
Results in a table
The hits are shown as an overview in a table. The results are sorted as percent/match.
In addition you can see the binding position of each primer and an alignment to the query sequence.
